@MostAmericans Um, I think you don’t quite understand what the rule of law is. It’s not the same thing as simply having laws. It means the supremacy of the law over everyone. The rule of law, rather than the rule of a king or a dictator. China has plenty of laws (more than America), but it doesn’t have the rule of law. The Magna Carta didn’t mean the rule of law, but it was a step towards that, by limiting the powers of the king, making even him subject to some laws. That’s what it means.
