    this is untrue if humans were really born totally deaf and dumb then it would stand to reason that by our mid 30’s we would have found more to complain about than just a cold coffee in the morning

  4. istewartbinks says:

    its hilarious how many starcraft connoisseurs enjoy watching newscientist. and it is pretty clever, except for the fact that the majority of the population would be considered drones.

  5. clanOT says:

    maybe we can train them to build for us -.-

  6. lukostello says:

    just to think that animals that are smaller than our largest cell have better architecture skills than we do, as the species with the most complicated brain stucture.

    @Paulginz

    Ahah!!! ONA5252 MUST be right because he saw it on tv… You and your evil mathematics and logic and reasoned research FAIL!!!

    Who says things like Square and Root??? Hmmm… Well, I do say root quite often…

    (to anyone reading this and thinking I am actually serious… Please have a sense of humour :P )

    Funny that we show a complete disrespect for all non-human (and human!!!) life. Yet, we look to nature for guidance… we are quite absurd.

  12. ONA5252 says:

    well maybe you’re right..but i saw some documentary on discovery channel and the guy said that “what if insects were bigger?” so he continued with my statement!

  13. Paulginz says:

    Part of the strength of insects comes from them being small.
    As a rule of thumb, mass increases as the cube of height while strength only increases as the square of height. So an insect that was 1000 times taller would also be 1000 times weaker (relative to it’s body mass).

  16. yetidetective says:

    i have giant, terrifying wasps that built my secret compound in the mountains. at night i ride them across the land, abducting and inseminating hillbillies so they will bear my horrid, insectoid offspring.

    @mysteries0Rlies
    imagine a giant insect..it would be like a living god! these things are so small becouse are very intelligent(for such a small thing indeed),very powerful and many of them know whats team work

    Hmm. Well, I know that enveloped frames help facilitate convection currents in a home. Perhaps it has something to do with that. The sun is increasing the air pressure on the East, South, and West, in that order, so maybe it’s set up sort of like our esophagus muscles. O.o

  24. kutaro13 says:

    Yehhh Insects to the rescue … amazing even eating dirt using dirt still efficient .. team work is the key. We eat tons of goodies as we describe, still feel lazy to move our ass from couch hahaha Lessen is learned. :P
