Granite Mining Crossover Method (better than Zarfot’s) 70k+ exp per hour!!!

This video is done for my crony who is perplexing to sense how we cave (even yet that’s physically impossible) so heres how. Sorry about the fps the foolish hypercam; if any one knows the great shade tape deck greatfully let me know. And approbation this is improved than Zarfot’s method, review his video to…

haha i know it sucks so bad :P

Very nice :) Old video! :P

The best way to level up any skill, is to use your own method. Doesn’t matter which is faster, just that you are consistent. Keep it up :-)

i actually came up with this mining tecnique by myself. i thaught i had my own little mining style that i made up but then i saw your video…guess not anymore.

  5. GrayAndCyan says:

Lol, I would test it more if I could get enough money for chins (99 range) faster =P

  6. LostRituals says:

I believe this is actually faster. And almost bug abuse as stated below. It’s not just cutting the mining animation, it’s actually mining granite in sandstone speed.

    We need further tests tho!

  7. GrayAndCyan says:

it’s almost bug abuse. what happens is when you click on the sandstone, you start mining it, but because it has a lower level required to mine, you mine it faster. by switching to the granite (which would normally take longer) you use the speed at which you mine sandstone, on the granite. probably not supposed to happen but that’s jagex for ya :)

    how is this done ????

  9. GrayAndCyan says:

Ok, I really need to get back to mining and show a detailed video describing my method.
I sent a query to Jagex as well, asking if clicking on the sandstone first is making the difference I claim it’s making. So far though, my tests have proven it does. By clicking the sandstone first, you are mining the sandstone, even if you click the granite next. This only works if the timing is precise. I will also video the response of Jagex with my next video. (IF they respond :-/)

Also, I find it hard to believe that you’re getting 77,000 experience per hour using that spot. I did extensive tests at 99 without summoning before Zarfot posted his video, and my best was only ~74,600. I first discovered this technique in February 2008 – you can ask him if you like.

You really need a titan to expect a consistent rate above 75,000.

  11. HerCelestial says:

It’s not any faster, so long as in both cases, you always focus on the granite rock first.

You can click the sandstone first, perform a drop, then switch to the granite if you like, but this does not save you any extra time. It only skips the initial mining animation on the granite (you effectively transfer your mining target from the sandstone to the granite).

  12. GrayAndCyan says:

Well I’ll be posting a new video soon that shows me getting more exp per hour than his, so hold tight :-)

  13. 1281natrapS says:

your method blows, Zarfot’s way was better…

  14. GrayAndCyan says:

haha, your actually commenting on this. Well i’ve timed this method and yours over and over with the same results. But I’m not sure everyone watching this can see when i actually drop, due to the poor quality of this video. All I’m sure of is you get a max of 75k in an hour, and I have gotten 77k. Without the adze, or lava titan.

omg, but he gets prayer exp and pure essence using this method, he must be pro though !

  16. LostRituals says:

No, I’m still learning. Getting like 70% success rates now. I need 85% at least.

  17. SecretdwarfRS says:

    You already can? :o

  18. 1mb0123d says:

    nice vid

  19. LostRituals says:

Thanks for the vid man! I’d so like to learn this method..!
