@scooterman24 all plumbing goes through the middle, like on a bmx with a gyro. With piping that can rotate at the connection between each level??

and where will be the stairs ?

  3. brietzmann says:

i would rather work on more efficient buildings than on buildings that move around a bit. this might look cool at first glance, but stands in no relation to the costs… dubai is broke guys…

  4. scooterman24 says:

as soon as it starts to turn the copper plumbing will be ripped out and the structure of the building willl fall can someone explain how you could fix this problem?

  6. ejma915 says:

that’s so scary. i have only seen rotating restos, but not the entire building itself. i think that those buildings would eat us humans someday. no!!!

@Sephyrius Dubai isn’t just throwing money into random luxury projects rather it is wisely investing its nations wealth into modern buildings that will one day make it a premier tourist destination and although on some buildings the aesthetics may seem over the top it attracts the appeal of wealthy tourists not to mention that these design revolutionize architecture and our concept of what a building is.

ITS SO COOL!! but theres a few problems i think a weak quake or hurricane or sandstorm could probably destroy its foundation

If you’re clueless about something, refrain yourself from commenting. This tower is the first of its kind in construction, as it is made of pre-fabricated modules and assembled quickly on the site.

LOL why did the Wind Turbines break at 1:12 – 1:14 ??

  14. Moviesmoveme says:

Talk about scary, on the 18th floor and the building is moving.. Even in stationary buildings, I feel a little bit of a movement..

@kneekoo …. i c what u mean by that m8… anything is possible now days… but i also agree to the comment above, by Sephyrius… it wont be able to move as fast as that… all and all,,, it will look good ones some country builds it.. some say it will cost as much as a 1.2 bil to complete it.. is it worth spending all that money on 1 building? no, not really…

  17. sssdddkkksss says:

    have any projects been commissioned?

  18. kneekoo says:

@SouthLondon99 Take a look at 1:15 and see how the building has a central pillar. That can be used for elevators, plumbing, electricity through flexible joints that can easily twist. But electricity can also be generated through photovoltaic windows and other ways – even the building’s movement itself. Flexible plumbing, photovoltaic windows, flexible displays and many other cool stuff already exist. You can read about it or call it stupid. Just google them.
