Dell XPS 15 L502X Review by The Digital Digest

I only perceived a Dell XPS fifteen L502X as well as longed for to give a little primary impressions of this Sandy Bridge formed multimedia notebook. This pattern has an Intel Core i7 2630QM (Sandy Bridge) CPU, 6GB DDR3 ram, 640GB 7200rpm HDD, Nvidia 525M w/1gb of impel as well as Optimus, Intel 1030 N w/ Bluetooth 3.0, 8X tray loading twin covering DVD burner as well as a full HD (1080p) 15.6 FHD B+RGLED display. HDMI, Display Port, SPDIF, HD webcam, back-lit keyboard, as well as USB 3.0 have been all upon board, creation this 6+ bruise laptop a loyal desktop deputy both in as well as out of a house. Battery hold up with a customary 6 dungeon battery averaged 4 hours, which for a Core i7 CPU formed cover is unheard of. This is a single of a most opening gains which Intel’s second era Sandy Bridge design has to offer. Enjoy a video! -TDD

    @MMdavidlc The other guy that reviewed a Dell XPS said it did not come with an disc. So maybe it depends from where you’re buying the product from. Thanks for reply though. Just need the disk to clean reinstall and change the language to something else lol.

  13. MMdavidlc says:

    @Kazjyakun i think in most cases it does, unless is an option available in customization is most likely to come with one, if not, i’m sure it will include a recovery partition :D sorry for my bad english i’m from mexico :)

  14. MMdavidlc says:

    i’m going to suscribe you do good reviews, most of the other ones available on youtube are bad explained or are just to presume, but you did just well :D

  15. MMdavidlc says:

    hi, nice review, i’m about to order a similar one, but with 4gb of ram, nvidia gt540m 2gb, and i know it’s not much of a big deal for gamers but trust me, when your only graphics card in life have been a geforce 6200 agp 8x, you get amazed easily, plus is the best notebook i can get for that price, BTW i’m from mexico, so wish me luck with ordering process and good quality, i dont want to have to claim warranty issues :D

  16. Kazjyakun says:

    Did it come with an OS installation disk?

  17. akulahMAR says:

    @Kazjyakun thanks mate..

  18. Kazjyakun says:

    @akulahMAR I recommend HD display

  19. gmaster45612374 says:

    Yay. They are bringing back the rear ports. I much prefer those over having the ports on the side.

  20. akulahMAR says:

    hey mate, 1 question here. should i upgrade to 9cell batt or the full hd display?

  21. Yeroc357 says:

    FYI, the sata port can also function as a usb.

    @naduongruto I got mine like 1 month ago and I`m not saying that i didn`t experience any problems with the laptop temperature…I`m just saying that after I disabled CoreTemp,SpeedFan and the nVidia GPU temp gadget my laptop is 75% cooler…even when heavy gaming.Before that the fans were loud & spinning all the time and now they don`t even turn on when browsing or watching a movie,now the laptop acts completely different than two weeks ago.Maybe they actually did a good job with mine…salutes!

  23. ProGamer3214 says:

    Dude peo

  24. naduongruto says:

    @MrJovica666 Core temp use litte to less mem usage and less to nothing regarding to cpu usage, even used real temp, cpuid. I certainly doubt your advice and most basic instructions has been taken care of as you suggested(even DELLcame to fix it). Unless you have low ambient temp or having it on a cooling platform reaching no more than 70 during heavy gaming is questionable or yours does not have issue with temps. Go check notebookreview owners lounge. The statistics speaks for itself.

  25. MrJovica666 says:

    @naduongruto Disable the damn Core Temp and nVidia temp gadgets or any gadget that shows CPU/GPU temperature and you`ll see..idle less than 50 C and even heavy gaming(Crysis 2,Dead Space 2,Bulletstorm) the temp does not reach more than 70 C.If u still experience problems download latest nVidia drivers from their site and update BIOS to A06
